Marco Kleijn is founder and owner of Global Cyclist. However, a one man company can only exist, when the whole family backs up his idea. Fortunately my wife Carla and son Bjorn do like cycling as much as I do. On the enclosed picture we are with the three of us at the camping in Cordoba, Spain.
Long before Global Cyclist was erected, Carla and I cycled through several countries. The feeling to be free, being outside, being active in a sportive way and the fact that you see and learn more from a country on a bicycle compared to travelling by car are for us all reasons to cycle during all our holidays. Despite the fact that we are always busy with Global Cyclist during our holidays, we think it is a relaxing activity.
We feel privileged to have changed our hobby into work. With lots of passion we therefore take care of your well deserved cycling holiday. Do try our personal developed travels or meet us (by bike).

Welcome at Global Cyclist

Global Cyclist is a travel agency which has been raised out of passion for cycling and travelling. At Global Cyclist you will have a gradually extending choice in the nicest cycling routes all around the world. All routes are separately mentioned in an up-to-date cycling route booklet which is offered in combination with a limited number of Hotel reservations and a transfer. Do look at the continent of your choice and find our actual offers. If you do not find the desired destination, please send us an email with your request.

Concept of Global Cyclist

The concept of Global Cyclist consists out of offering modules for individual and group cycling travels.

The most important module, which we offer, is the welcome module. 

This module normally consists out of a transfer with a minivan from the airport to the Hotel, two nights at the Hotel at the beginning of your trip, local support from our agent, an up-to-date roadbook for cyclists with loads of practical information and  if you are interested, the route on GPS.

Off course we do offer many other modules and variations. On our website we mention the possiblities specifically per travel.

Next to modules we also offer arrangements in which all parts can be adapted to your wishes.
